Terms of service

Last updated 2 November 2026

About these terms

These terms cover your use of Sitera, the website platform made and run by Dreamers (Dreamers Media Pty Ltd, ABN 19 679 585 936) in Sydney, Australia ("we", "us"). If your business uses Sitera, these terms apply between your business and Dreamers, alongside any written proposal or agreement we give you for your build. If they differ, the written agreement wins. Questions: sitera@dreamersworld.app.

What Sitera is

We design and build your website, and give you the Sitera console to run it: content, shop and payments, inbox, emails, apps and billing. Your site runs on a backend of its own that is not shared with any other business.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. Give each person on your team their own access from the console.
  • You are responsible for what your team does in your console.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone has got into your account.

Your content and data

What you put on your site (text, images, products, customer and subscriber data) stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run your site and Sitera. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload, and you are responsible for your own customers' privacy under your own privacy policy.

Sending email

Sitera sends your order and account emails, and lets you send newsletters. When you send newsletters you agree to:

  • Send only to people who opted in to hear from you. No bought, rented, scraped or shared lists.
  • Keep the unsubscribe link Sitera adds to every newsletter, and never re-add someone who unsubscribed.
  • Send from your own business, with an honest sender name, subject and a real reply address.
  • Follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the anti-spam laws of the places you send to.

Sitera removes bounced and complaining addresses from your list automatically, and you cannot send to them again. If your sending causes high bounce or complaint rates, we may pause your newsletters while we look into it with you.

Acceptable use

Do not use Sitera for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive, including spam, phishing, malware, selling prohibited goods, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the platform. We may suspend a site that does, and we will tell you why.

Fees and billing

The fees for your build and your Sitera plan are set out in your proposal. Your plan is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. If a payment is missed, editing in the console pauses until it is paid. Your public site stays online. Payments your own customers make go to your own payment account, not to us.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Sitera fast and online, and we keep improving it. Sometimes we need short maintenance windows, and we may change or retire features. If a change takes away something you rely on, we will tell you ahead of time.

Ending the service

You can leave Sitera by giving us 30 days' notice by email. We will help you take your content and data with you, and then delete it as our privacy policy describes. We may end the service for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, after telling you and giving you a fair chance to fix it where we can.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us for Sitera in the 12 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and email businesses on Sitera about any important change before it takes effect.
